| Connecting To House of Commons Chats |
So you're wondering how you can participate in one of Stratics' House of Commons Developer Chats? Well, it is very easy!
First of all, you'll be needing an IRC client so you can connect to our servers. This is relatively simple, especially with our handy Downloads section which has a list of various popular IRC clients. Alternatively, if you do not want to install a client, you can connect to the chat via our Java client here. If you choose this route, you'll also need to install Java.
Okay, so now you have an IRC client. What you need to do next is connect to one of our servers:
- stratics.frws.com port 6668, USA - Colorado
- irc.glowfish.de port 6668, EU - Germany
- stratics.afraidyet.net 6668, USA - Atlanta
- irc.gamers-irc.org 6668, USA - Colorado
Alright! Now that everything is set up all you need to do is join #straticshoc (by typing /join #straticshoc) and you're set! Please note that you'll need to send your questions to one of our question takers marked with [QT] in front of their name (you can do this by typing /msg [NAME HERE] without the brackets). All questions sent to either the hosts or the developers will not get answered.
